Nothing on consoles is running at 4K@120. Likewise, neither is anything on PC without upscaling and framegen. Just because it says it on the box doesn't mean that's what it's running at.
This is absolute nonsense and purely subjective. 4K@60 is no more weird than choosing lower image quality to get more frames at 2K@144 or higher. Some people prefer maximum image quality and 60fps is still 'good enough' even today for many people. Still more than you'll generally get on even a...
Your motherboard comes with on-board sound which these days is more than good enough, unless you plan on plugging in instruments or work in audio, you really don't need a sound card.
Remove Norton 360, it will do nothing but slow down your PC.
Fortnite will still likely need to go on medium settings. How well games run also depends on the resolution, if you buy a 1400p (2k) screen and he's trying to run it in 1440p, it will require a lot more graphics power than if he were trying to run it in 1080p on a 1080p screen.

Huh, that's possible. I'm not entirely sure how much the big radiator would affect the CFM tho. It wouldn't exactly be 5 fans worth of power as theyd all be pretty much strapped to the rad.
Not true, even here in the GN video they say specifically that front mounted will be cooler at idle and at load vs top mounted exhaust. Only top mounted INTAKE would bring them back to about even. The previous video I showed proves this by actually testing it.
All in all, front mounted (tubes...
I've edited the post with the info requested. Thanks for the PSU info that's helpful.
I don't really want the corsair ones either for the cooler as they're overpriced for their performance, shame there is so little options in this category. Usually I'd build the pc myself but since GPUs are so...
There's surprisingly little information about the PSUs on offer, only the 850w RMX specifies that it's ATX 3.1, the other options don't specify at all.
Am I assuming the 1000w RMX I've chosen is the new 2024 ATX3.1 model with 12 2x6 slot? I don't really want the older 12VHPWR from 2021.
