Windows didn't get it wrong. You messed up selecting the drive/partition at install time. It's easily done if you're not used to clean installing in a UEFI environment. You need to format ALL those drives to ensure that the next install is properly clean.

As above, that is a total mess. When you reinstalled Windows you got it horribly wrong and you've completely fouled up your whole disk setup. I'd advise the following.... Backup all your user data to one (or both) of those external drives. Then disconnect these drives from the PC. Boot the...
