Sounds to me like it would be much better to buy a £200 laptop from amazon and save up money for something decent.
As the guys have mentioned AMD is a better choice for a budget build like this.
Well a 2080 TI will deffo last you longer than a 2070 that's all Im saying.
Since he has said "i'd also like the Tower to last for around 5 years before considering upgrading parts" Im understanding it that he wont be doing any upgrading during that time, so if he can afford it I'm suggesting a...
H310M Motherboard you have picked is a Mini-ATX so that's a mini PC.
For some reason those take longer to build than laptops / towers as reflected by their stats on main page.
Just to add - If you are anything like me and want to game on ultra on modern titles then RTX 2070 might not cut it for 1440p in lets say 2 years.
So that 5 years no upgrade thing you have mentioned will probably not work out.
If I was you i'd still change the RAM to 3200 Mhz it might be like 10£ difference and solid performance boost.
Good looking build for some modarate gaming.
Not sure what from that list could hold it. - Deffo give them a call ASAP.
What build did you pick?
It's probably a missing part if it's this long in pre-production. Might be worth seeing if this part can be swapped for something better/cheaper
Happy to see you got your machine & that you are happy with it!
Advice is what we here for, just sharing our passion for PC's and spreading it out ;)
Looks great!
The LED's from PCS aren't branded for iCUE control.
That's why I've advised to avoid them if you want a synched LED set up, you need to get ASUS LEDS or iCUE alternatives.
I also recommend JackNet RGB Sync which allows you to synch iCUE with Asus AURA great stuff.
Alrighty my dude!
CPU: I'd recommend you to switch to an AMD build for this. Cheaper and better processors for the things you've mentioned.
Screen/Display: Also the screen is a baaad idea. 1080p on 27inch screens is NOT a good idea. 1440p is soo much better for 27 inch monitors wont cause eye...
I thought it would be interesting to make a thread where people would post their old vs new rigs.
A bit of nostalgia is never a bad thing.
I'll start it off!
My old Phantom and New Corsair! Still looking beauty as always.
The Old and New Box! - Design changed a little!
It's just something i looked into since I have them for work purposes anyway.
I realize you are meant to use 3 of same models preferably but It did say that there was a way to as u mentioned "Trick Nividia" To work.
I'm just not sure how to since I've tried upscaling the side monitors to 1440p...
So i have 3 Monitors.
Main big monitor which stands in middle "Dell S2716DG 27 Inch TN Anti-Glare LED-backlit LCD Gaming Monitor (Black) (1 ms Response Time, QHD 2560 x 1440 at 144 Hz, Nvidia G-Sync"
And two side monitors. "Philips 243V7QJABF 23.8-Inch IPS Full HD Monitor"
Whenever i try to...
