Oh this is weird indeed. Maybe it has to do with out locations as I'm based in the UK? No idea.
I'm not a computer expert sadly, but I did a google search on how to look up my BIOS version. I hope that this is the information you requested:
BIOS Version/Date Insyde Corp. 1.07.04TPCS...
Yeah, I tried ringing them up on Friday and was on hold for over an hour before I gave up. They must be quite busy these day. Aber danke für alles! You've been a great help (y)
I'm trying them out at the moment too. Funny that we had the same idea. But yeah, it's getting really frustrating. I've alread spent hours and hours on this little issue and don't know what to do now
Same here. I reinstalled windows. Let windows do the updates, then downloaded the nvidia driver from clevo, installed it, and finally downloaded control center from clevo too. Still not working.
Interesting that you're having the same issue. Thanks for pointing out. I will reinstall windows now and give an update once it's finished. Hopefully that will solve the issue.
Alright. I will reinstall windows tomorrow. Hopefully that will work. Thanks. The thing is just that I installed the drivers through the CD AFTER I've noticed that the brightness didn't work. I tried out the CD as a last resort when everything else didn't work. But well, tomorrow I'll reinstall...
I've installed control center and all the drivers from the Driver CD that came with the laptop. It should be okay, but for some reason I still can't adjust the brightness. Everything else works flawlessly.
Screenshot attached. It moves around, but it doesn't change the brightness not one bit. When I try to adjust the brightness with the keyboard, another brightness line appears, but it still stays at the same level of brightness, it doesn't matter how much I play around with it.
I've downloaded now the NVIDIA Studio Driver Version 451.48, but it's still not working. I've been ringing PCSPECIALIST now for 45 minutes, but nobody's picking up the phone.
Yes, I have done both. I installed, uninstalled, reinstalled and updated the NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2070 driver and it still doesn't work. I installed control center too. It's really odd. I assume that there's something wrong with the driver itself as all the other functions seem to work...
