Yeah I will dig into manual mode tomorrow. The obsidian tool looks like it has smoothing options and you can configure how often the fan proves the CPU and GPU to help avoid brief fan spikes, but as you say, I think with the right manual settings RLEC viewer looks like it can do a good job. :)

A further note on anyone who is looking to manually clock or volt a Ryzen on a Clevo chassis, turns out that the Ryzen Master and Clevo Control Center do not get along. Been tearing my hair out most the day wondering why undervolts and clock settings which I know should be stable kept reverting...

Screenshot below. Offset is available only on automatic mode which is to be expected I guess. Just wasn't sure on its purpose or function? If CCC fan control isn't the best, do you suggest any alternatives?

You need to unzip them once downloaded and run the installer inside each one folder. Only exceptions is number 8 Nvidia driver. There are more up to date versions on the Nvidia website

It would always be recommended to use an M.2 Drive for the boot drive as it’s much faster especially if it’s NVMe factor like the Samsung 970

Just a further update, I've spoken with PCS and I should be able to swap the m.2 drive for the Samsung 860 QVO but I will need to do a standard replacement and send the PCS drive back first rather than advanced replacement. This is fine as there's no urgent rush with it only being a secondary drive

It could well be Scott. Perhaps something PCS can speak to Clevo about to see if it can be resolved with a BIOS update if so. My RMA has been approved so I am going to call PCS in the next few mins to see about swapping the replacement for the Samsung 860 QVO.

Yeah I had done those 3 diskpart commands and it bombed out halfway through the format. Interestingly, I have just put the drive in my old laptop and run PW "wipe partition" function and it wiped fine! This wouldn't complete when the drive was in the Nova. So it doesn't seem to be an issue...
