Mine has the rtx2070 super, any of these laptops you’ll need to tinker with to get the best out of them. Saying that I’ve had nothing to complain about with my recoil - it has totally met my expectations. For me the major selling point over the vyper was the mechanical keyboard and speakers.

I had high temps with my recoil and found that epic games was just quietly burning up my gpu, beyond making sure it is closed and updating drivers I have no further advice, but the forums here seem hugely helpful so I’m sure someone will have a solution for you.
Also - I think you are comparing apples and pears, mine is a recoil not a vyper, on a cooling stand in a cold room. I’m currently charging, so the speaker portion of my chassis is hot to touch, but my gpu is at 62, my cpu is at 32 and the ssd is at 40... if I turn on the fans then my gpu drops...
