Does making amendments to an order affect that order's position in the queue?

At this point I probs aint gonna get it until new year lol, ive just had to amend my order to choose a different psu as the one i chose went out of stock and the cpu i chose is out of stock until mid december, im not getting my hopes up at this point lmao

the cpu i chose did go out of stock a few days ago but i was told by support one was assigned to my order and all I was waiting for is the 3070 and the motherboard is still in stock

just a few replies above your first on this thread is someone saying they ordered 1st of nov and is now in building, i don’t know anything about their order so i could be missing something, just thought it was a bit strange.

Ah ok, i was just wondering since i ordered launch day and someone who ordered 1st of november is in building while i’m in pre production after being told all the other parts needed for my build have already been assigned to my order, just a little confusing but i’m not here to question how you...

is there a way we can tell if our order was assigned one? or is it blind luck on our end?
