As above, i would sort the drives out into logical physical parts, just have a 2 x 500GB M.2 for OS's then a 2TB M.2 drive (or larger SSD if not third M.2 available) in there somewhere to hold the VM images and host VM storage.
Also personally i would go 64GB RAM on any machine running VM's...
Agreed, i have the Corsair 5000D case and got PCS to put 3 x LL120's on the front and one on the back (the rear is just there for RGB goodness and is ticking over on a fixed RPM)
They moved the original fans to the side in intake mode, i have just removed them and put the Corsair blanking...
Weird choice of M.2 drive for a home server. What software are you running? If its on of the open source NAS or something like that a very basic 128GB M.2 would have done it, in fact most of them boot from a 16GB USB thumb drive.
Yeah I’m convinced it’s hardware, I might just swap the Commander to another USB header and see if it’s same
Presume if they RMA it the whole H150i will come so just clean off old paste from CPU and pop new pump on as it should have pasts on it?
Ok, i'm going to call time on this and sort an RMA, its packed up again, it decided to disappear totally from iCUE last night and was showing the commander Core, not the H150i, so its either the Commander Core or the pump head itself that's gone wonky. Checked all connections and now i can see...
I have a Keychron K8, not full sized but well built, can work wireless, i love it, not sure they do a K10 in ISO UK layout though although they do offer other options.
That's what i wondered, anybody could be anywhere now with VPN etc. i would have thought a genuine "hacker" would cover their tracks better than that, more like a chancer than hacker.
Love those phone calls, I have a nice chat with them now and again too, i like it when i get them to a point...
I'm genuinely interested how you have deduced this? Who told you you had been hacked by somebody in Russia?
Also WRT running out of passwords just use a password manager, it creates them for you.
Erm OK, thanks for dissecting the post, my comment was rather tongue in cheek but i guess that's been lost
Also this statement from the OP is just bizarre:
But my findings are as follows: PC Specialist are a shady business without a clue about the products they're selling, Intel and Gigabyte...
Im a bit unsure how many fans are non Corsair in his build but if he has a H150i in there there should be 3 spare ports for fans anyway, think he just needs to by the fans themselves?
Hmmmmm don't tempt me, not sure my H150i rad will fit on thop though (my Pump Head LED's are still not working correctly either so maybe a warrantly coming on that soon anyway) think front mount is only option, thats not really an issue just a faff
