My PC turned up Monday, only issue I had was the LED strip was plugged in the wrong header but no big deal. Works great, looks great, cables was well done considering I have 9 fans. I also added 4 hard drives and a rbg gpu holder so the wiring round the back is out of control...but it's hidden...

Ahhh I see. Thanks for the input. I've actually watched a number of videos today since it released and learned more. It's actually quite unbelievable how hot the 19000k gets, hotter than I ever imagined actually. I was looking at the price here on pcs, I built a system identical to the AMD one...

I already have a Samsung 960 which is 3500MB/s and other various high quality hd/ssd in my home. With the 980 it's more a case of..."boys and toys", right? :LOL:. I just want to have the newest, fastest disk for windows, adobe suite and the main games I'm playing. 1TB is enough but 500 is too...

If it was me I'd do everything I could to get the Ryzen 5 5600x cpu...it's a big performance increase in games. I'd also get the tuf x570 motherboard as its price to performance is the best value and only slightly more expensive. You could drop the cooler and get the standard amd one, the pcs...

So I took your guys advice and upgraded the processor to 8 cores. To counter the price increase I changed the 980 2tb to 1tb since I have lots of hard drives already...the 2tb at that speed was probably overkill. Also upgraded the psu to the rmx series. Saving £30 in the process.

hmm I don't know what kind of data or how much or how many virtual machines you are running and possibly alongside other programs but 64gig ram might be a better idea. If your ram usage is fine on your current desktop though then I assume 64gig isn't needed.
