Have ordered quite a lot of tea from them and it is very good.
Experimented with some bread today, turned out very nice.
Roasted garlic, chestnut mushrooms and red capsicum in a mixture of butter, tahini, sea salt and tarragon. When that had cooled put in bowl and added water, flour, yeast as in standard dough.
The dough hook on my Kenwood is among my...
This post could go in sport or general as well but wanted to enjoy our new sub forum.
Got fed up with trying to understand legal jargon so going to watch the T20 from St Lucia and enjoy a salad with fresh capsicum plus a sourdough rye loaf and a few cheeses, including Stilton, Single...

A big thank you to our overlord for setting up this sub-forum. Am looking forward to seeing some interesting stuff.
A suggestion for the mods, is it worth a sticky with links to good food outlets like Fishforthought and The Truffle Hunter. Always handy to know where to find ingredients.
Was interested and pleased to see this site start up and also the success it has had so far.

It is good to see local/small bookshops getting some support at this time.
Am curious, have read here that it is not worth a Ryzen OC for gaming but is it worth it in other areas?
Have no intention of getting a new rig at moment, cannot justify it, even if prices and world situation was not crazy. Just wondered whether for video, photo, audio or work like that an OC...
Great win for the Kiwis over Aussie just now. Seemed quite strange to see a ground full of spectators at the moment.
Pleased for NZ, especially on the anniversary of the Christchurch earthquake.
OK, so the title of this thread is a bit of a lie but as I have been dissing Intel so much on here lately thought it only decent to highlight one of the great positives of their CPUs.
I got my last desktop a year or so before AMD re-entered the land of the living so obviously went with Intel...
Have seen a few posts asking about extra fans and thought of this.
When ordered could they be dispatched immediately, before the build has even started. For people as impatient as I am they would help us to keep cool while stomping up and down waiting for the order :)
Anyone else into different varieties of tea, found this place ages ago, a bit pricey but about six times a year they do 20% off everything: https://www.tealyra.co.uk
Find tea quite fascinating as there is basically only one type of plant and flavour difference is down to where it was grown...
OK, I realise me advising on gaming is almost as sensible as trying to teach Donald Trump to tell the truth but this site did seem interesting: https://www.fossmint.com/best-linux-games/
After years of using nvidia drivers have noted than streamed TV (BT Sport in my case) is stuttering and while ok in a small window is unwatchable on full screen.
Solution is simple, switch to X.org 'nix driver and a perfect picture. Have noticed this on an Octane and a new Nova.
Be interested...
Was given an amazing reworking of the Residents Commercial Album by the 180 Gs a while back. Hard to believe this would be good as an a cappella piece but it is.
Now found out the latest project is an a cappella version of Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica. Am really looking forward to that.
Am not a gamer so have a free copy of Assassin's Creed, Valhalla which came with my new Samsung drive to give away. If anyone is interested message me, if more than one of you I will draw the name from a virtual hat in a week's time.
I find HDDs great for music, my collection is well over 1 TB, all FLAC files and it is really handy to be able to have it in car or wherever I am staying.
Anyone been watching the Test series between Australia and India. Some of the best Tests I have seen in ages, even the draw was fascinating as India with a shed load of injuries managed to hang on.
Not a new member of these fora but it is so long since I have been on here it seems like it. Hope everyone is surviving the current situation and not getting too down about it.
