Have you seen this thread, although a different motherboard https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/bluetooth-driver-keeps-being-deleted.86981/
Are you running Windows Professional?
I note that you have had machines in the past. I was surprised to discover, on here, that you can transfer your Windows 10 licence from an old machine, even if it is an OEM version. That, of course, assumes you no longer wich to use Windows on the old machine (I had been using Windows 10 on an...
I believe the conventional wisdom on here is that the AMD CPUs are much better than the Intel ones (a link is often posted about this but I can't find it). But the latest generation of Intels (12th generation) may change all that and also soon another generation of AMD CPUs is to be released.

Wouldn't the monitor slow things down, when, for instance, Timcla is moving from one image to another and has only low res previews, ie if the images are needing to be displayed in a higher resolution than on the old monitor? I wonder if that's what he (assuming from the name that Tim is a "he")...
Card arrived and installed and I have a few times copied the 1TB folder of 40,000 images and Lightroom data from the external HD through the expansion card's 20Gb/s USB socket with no problems. So fingers crossed. Although I had deleted the files that were causing problems.
