Yes, if you use the uninstall tool from avast it gets rid of it completely. Otherwise it's still going to cripple the system.

I uninstalled Avast premium and my pc was unrecognisable, so, so much faster almost like new. Get shot of it.

Don't know if you've seen it yet but there a new one coming out, the CX 60. Looks stunning and it's available with a straight six normally aspirated motor. Glorious! The interior is stunning. Comes in phev flavour as well as a 3.5 ltr diesel.

That's an interesting case. Perhaps a more powerful PSU to allow for forward compatibility (The GPU of the very near future looks like being a power hungry monster). Did you look at the 12th gen CPU? The 12400f is very good.

GPU is a simple swap out, same goes for RAM modules. The CPU however will (almost certainly) need a new motherboard if you intend to upgrade to latest gen. Certainly doable but you need to be aware.
