I think there was confusion here, that monitor is not a GSync monitor, so wouldn't work with native gsync.
It's a Freesync Premium monitor which means it's a freesync monitor that has a higher band where the framerate sync is functional, but it doesn't have a GSync module which is a hardware...
It’s actually 120Hz, there is an Amazon listing that incorrectly states it as 300hz which may be where the confusion lies.
MSFS isn’t a high refresh game so wouldn’t pose any issues with that monitor
I would add, for MSFS I wouldn’t hesitate in overshooting the GPU considerably, it can make...
Oh bonus, it was only £10 more expensive when I was looking with the heatsink, it's a seriously high quality heatsink too, they haven't cheaped out in any way.
I love my T700, just an insanely fast drive. Mine is as the OS drive.
I bought mine without a heatsink as the motherboard has it's own in-built heatsink, and I've not had any heat issues on it at all.
You do 100% need a heatsink with it though, but most 600 and 800 series boards have in-built...
You ordered without windows, so you obviously know how to configure it, but you've admitted that you haven't configured it correctly so obviously not. PCS won't tell how to properly configure windows as you didn't pay for that service, you can't expect something for free.
For anyone else...
The other news that's hitting hard is that they're going to be rolling X3D technology out on upcoming mobile chips, so anyone thinking of buying a gaming laptop, I would STRONGLY recommend to wait until January CES announcements as I think we're going to be seeing some really competitive options...
That's exactly it, before Ryzen 3000 they actually marked higher core counts down (as AMD had far higher core counts) and purely scored on frequency, then when Intel moved to big / little design, they changed the metric to favour intel.
It's literal garbage, total nonsense, all their "benchmark...
The tantrum continues for the 9800X3D chips!
Yet again, simping or admitting they've done zero testing of their own, 1% lows on the 9800X3D tend to outperform a lot of other titles average frame rate scores. It's streets ahead of anything for 1% lows, that's aside from the GPU performance it...
It also needs to be a corsair H150i level cooler, and a Shift 1200W PSU, ask them if they've got the 1000W ATX3 PSU's in stock yet, if they have get that one.
Oooo, yes, that looks nice and twisted, good reviews too, just before it was released there was some umming and aahing as I think development hit a few brick walls and they weren't sure how release was going to go, but looks like they've pulled it off.
The two are the same thing, if you can answer the following then we have enough to be able to offer some advice

The new Mac Mini in it's base configuration is really making waves, there is nothing that comes close to it at the budget with such full GPU performance and capable processor.
Upgrade prices are absolutely insane, and I really wish regulators would step in and set some clear boundaries.
BUT on...
Really need to know where people are reading this stuff? Are you sure you're getting the context of time frame? None of this has been relevant for over a decade.
