My wife is very pleased with her 17.3" Lafite Pro Series.
Her previous Dell laptop was starting to get a bit slow, so I had a look about, I kept coming back to PC Specialist as I had bought an Ultranote Series and it is still going strong four years later.
She is using it for her work as a...
Thanks Bhuna50. I've messaged Tech Support but I'll try that.... Failing that I'll just take it to a pc shop andbuy screws from there if they have any.(y)
I have a 15.6" Notebook NL51CU. A few screws are missing and 2 are very difficult to remove from the bottom of the chassis, I daren't put them back in in case of not being able to remove them again.
Hopefully it's a simple one for you all, but anyone have any idea what size screws I'd require...
I've just looked and it turns out, after all my trouble I have the digital license once more linked to my Microsoft account
I'm happy enough using that, and I'm more than happy I never paid the full amount for the product key. 👌
The license was an upgrade from Windows 8. I have now been able to activate it. I ended up wiping my files from my hdd and initially installed it on that drive first (I should have removed the HDD first to prevent that happening) then I reinstalled on the primary drive (NVME) so then it said...
I have the keyboard sorted now. I downloaded the Control Centre from my download page, "et voila"
To tell the truth, I've only had this a few days so it hasn't had much use and I haven't even heard the speakers yet. My last laptop was a refurbished HP 15" Pavilion 246sa so it was an old piece...

My pad works from the centre to the right side so I can use left click from the centre, but I would like to fix this... I think it may be the HDD I fitted, it may just be a little tight which seems to affect the pad. I might remove it just to...
Therefore, correct me if I'm wrong, I can,
1: Transfer my second storage drive into my new laptop.
2: Remove my old SSD & place it into an external enclosure then install windows 10 from a flash drive into my new laptop.
3: Plug my external drive into the laptop & retrieve my license from that...
Sorry to keep going on but I want to get this right before I place the order.
As far as I know, the OS is installed on my boot drive (SSD) I'm going to use this as an external once I have my new laptop. Should I leave this one as is, just in case the OS won't transfer using the digital license...
Just been looking through your link.
It turns out I have no product code but a digital license which has been linked to my Microsoft account. I see no Emails with any information, but I do remember getting a free Windows upgrade from Windows 8 a few year back. Would you foresee any problems for...
