When I bought my previous laptop 2 years ago, it came with two booklets – a Welcome Booklet and a Concise User’s Guide(that had details of all ports et).
Also a CD that had manual, drivers etc on it.
A new laptop has only come with the same Welcome Booklet more suited to a Win10 desktop rather...
Its for gaming and all round work but are looking to be fairly lightweight as for use in different rooms plugging in high spec laptop. Budget for perfect spec started at £500 but can go higher.
To work primarily with NVIDIA® RTX 3070 - 8.0GB. So G Sync or adaptive, 4K good refresh rate. Ideally height adjustable, not too heavy as some can be 9kg plus.
Could be space for 28 inch if perfect spec.
Looking for an AIO PC as a space saving PC but fair spec for all round use. Not many good spec 27inch around HP seemed OK but Pcspecialist do allow more flexibility for both hardware & base software specs. Any one have one of the PCS built ones?
Not directly but internet speed can be affected by a lower connection speed to exchange which means a lower speed from the router for both ethernet & wifi connections. Also a not 100% performing network card could meaan a lower speed. Just good to make sure all in my hands is prefect.
Just having some lower Wi-Fi speeds and trying to get an answer from provider SKY to check with Openreach on connection with exchange is like pulling teeth. If its not lower than 27 they won't do anything, but speed has dropped from 37-38 to 32-33. So trying anything in my control.
What driver do people have installed? Mine is Intel 21.90.3.2 dated 4th May 2020 installed.
Latest on Killer site is 2.2.1460 dated May 18th 2020, any better? Best to have?
Anyone installed the Killer Control Centre and if its worth it?
I have Sound Blaster Connect installed on my WIN 10 PCS laptop which gives some control of the sound. But it does not look like any control for sound is installed on the recent desktop we have other than up or down. Any offers desktop came with ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS...
Thanks for reply and looking into.
Decided to keep a working LG monitor for now.
With this long story of Amazon monitor, 1st no UK plug, sent another Monitor instead of a uk plug, so then have 2 LG monitors.
LG happy to send a free UK plug but took a few weeks. Then waiting for Amazon to pick...
Already have 1 LG monitor waiting for Amazon to pick up now its 2.
500+ish but so far most monitors seem 2-3 years old the LG choice was OK but current situation seems no new tech. Was looking for NOT curved, might change mind as seems limits choice.
Monitor has been good, but died this week, red hot along the bottom of screen then completely died. Don't want another hassle with Amazon or same monitor so back to the drawing board for a monitor.
Any offers people?
After a 32 inch 4k this time, height adjustable, guess with Freesync to make...
For my laptop it came with the simple Control Center to manage and monitor GPU/CPU temps & also Power settings.

Story so far... the second monitor from Amazon was delivered on 7th May box plastered with Italian stickers & from Milan. Identical to first one & same Italian 2 pin plug. Contacted Amazon, this person was so different, said immediately that it was illegal to supply without UK plugs. They said...
Screen Problem solved, probably.
It was indeed the new LG 32GK850F screen and a setting found by pushing up the button on the bottom of the screen and selecting settings.
Under ‘General’ are Smart Energy Saving and Automatic Standby now turned to off. thanks.
