PCSPECIALIST Considering Upgrading My PCS System Due to Loud Noise

Hi Hix, I don't have access to my system at this moment, but I did briefly experiment with the fan curves and could adjust them to lower the temperature. However, when I lowered them, my system made an almost 'pulsating' sound and would get slightly warmer. Not sure why, but I reverted it and...

PCSPECIALIST Considering Upgrading My PCS System Due to Loud Noise

Hi, As the title says, I am considering upgrading my custom PCS PC to try to make it quieter during periods of demanding gaming. I play at 1440p and with the highest settings I can. I have a good system for gaming (see specs below) and I get great performance. However, when playing some of the...

PCSPECIALIST Very loud fan 'rattle' sound after only 6 hours of having PC

I actually just checked the fans and it appears that the middle fan may be the culprit, it seems loose, and is making a very similar sound to the rattling sound Edit: which is being caused by the bracket, thank you very much SpyderTracks :)

PCSPECIALIST Very loud fan 'rattle' sound after only 6 hours of having PC

Oh I see, I could try slightly adjusting it and see if that helps. I never thought about that because I haven't touched it and the fans were ok earlier yesterday. Maybe it moved somehow

    PCSPECIALIST ~£2,000 Gaming PC

I was wondering about that haha, I saw some videos of custom liquid solutions and thought they were all as tedious as those, that's a relief. May end up going for an AIO then

Great, thank you! Maybe worthwhile looking into an AIO instead then? I've never had any liquid cooling but maybe it's worth looking into

    PCSPECIALIST ~£2,000 Gaming PC

Thank you for the feedback! I never even really considered an AMD focused CPU, not that I'm opposed to it at all :) Do you reckon the AMD processor is the better choice? Also I really like your choice of SSDs, much better than my initial selection. Thanks!

    PCSPECIALIST ~£2,000 Gaming PC

Hey there. I am looking to buy a strong PC for gaming (currently have a mid-range that is struggling to play the newer games, and I am not very knowledgable about PCs). I have modified the 'Royale Extreme' template in a couple of areas, although truth be told I probably don't need to upgrade...
