I returned the laptop (found some incompetency on PCS' end here) and bought from another vendor.
No issues on Arch/Fedora and most importantly I'm not treated as if I don't understand a linux system. Good luck!
I also have no sound, I've modified the main message to make that clearer. When trying to enable or use audio is when I get those weird sound artifacts. I think it could be the same issue.
Windows is fine so far.

Not in this case. It should be built-in into the kernel, which I'm running 6.2.6-76060206-generic. Seems like it could be something to do with pipewire. Have you, or anyone else, heard the noise that I demonstrated? I'm open to trying some other distro if it's discarded it's hardware.

Recently got the Recoil 17 and installed Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS. However, I'm getting some really odd sounds coming out of the laptop.
Sound doesn't really work, and it's difficult to explain but from time to time, there's a high-pitch sound coming out of the laptop, almost like an alien...
