The 1080 really has stood the test of time, hasn’t it? It’s been so consistently good for such a long time, if it wasn’t for the rise of the ray tracing era it’d still be a hugely competent GPU.

Personally, I have to state that Dire Straits do nothing for me. But as a guitarist I will say that you are 100% in surmising Knopfler as a great. He pays tribute to his main inspiration and does all the Hendrix runs and licks but you get the feeling that there’s very little knob twiddling...
