UPDATE - It is currently £1.44 on Steam. There is no excuse not to pick it up at that price. Come on, @Martinr36 , it’s calling you…

Well... the masochist in me likes a challenge. So I went back to this game. Over and over and over again. All achievements unlocked! There's only three of them but I think the stats speak for themselves.
The first completion time was over twelve hours, my best run was ten and a half minutes...
I like the look of A Difficult Game About Climbing! On the wish list it goes.
I need a break from that kind of game for a wee while though so I picked up The Outer Wilds as it’s currently cheap on Steam. Should help exorcise some of the demons that the Foddster has left in my brain.
Remember QWOP? He created that too. He seems to specialise in games that make you want to kill yourself... and him.
That being said, his new game looks fun. Brings a whole new meaning to the gaming term 'walking simulator'
I don't consider myself to be a hardcore gamer (although I have beaten Dark Souls, Bloodborne and I still play FTL despite the RNG overlords ruining a perfect run at the last moment) but I have done something today I'm quite proud of.
I completed Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy.
It took...
I’ve just discovered that the wonderful part Russian doll simulator, part puzzle game Stacking is on Steam!
It’s not new (I used to play it on the Xbox 360) but it’s very charming, as you’d expect from a Tim Schafer game. Would highly recommend it… might even buy it myself at some point and do...
Seconded, in a massive way. I was clinically miserable back in 2016 and ETS2 stopped me topping myself or drinking myself to death. Just did thousands of miles and hundreds of deliveries during the lonely evenings, No music on, the hum of the engine was enough to quieten the noise in my head...
I feel you there. I sooooo want to like them but they just don’t click with me and I haven’t got the free time or the dedication / inclination to master the many skills needed to fully enjoy them.
It’s Partial War at best from my end.
Thank you for the praise! I didn’t know it was such a fine art to get away with the RickRoll these days.
When I eventually cark it I’ll make sure someone in the famalam sends you lads a lovely blue hyperlink to my funeral being live-streamed… go on… click it…
Gor blimey. I’d almost forgotten about the bad old cake days! I had to do something to stop you all climbing the walls, gentle humour and pictures of confectionery were all I had in my locker. I’m surprised it worked at placating so many for so long.
There’s surely no way we’ll end up back in...
And rumour also has it that the cel-shaded Fear Effect series from that era will be hitting PC at some point this year. It’s going to be a cracking year for nostalgia for me if that’s true and I can relive my mid to late teens.
All I’ll need is a few bottles of Hooper’s Hooch, a bag of...
The lovely lads and lasses at GOG have done a wonderful thing and managed to get the classic Capcom series Dino Crisis on their game preservation program! It’s not a remaster with ray tracing and four million frames per second but it’s the most playable that the games have and ever will be on...
Well said, good sir. And honourable mentions to Inland Empire and The Straight Story, another two fantastic movies.
Without question, the most important director of our time, an accomplished artist and also a musician. A true auteur.
A little bit of my soul cracked and fell off when I read...
It’s been another crazy year for us, and not in a good way. Mrs C broke her ankle in two places so needed a fair bit of recovery time and physio.
Then she managed to ruin a planned week of annual leave by getting appendicitis and having to have surgery to whip the offending organ out. And...
The 1080 really has stood the test of time, hasn’t it? It’s been so consistently good for such a long time, if it wasn’t for the rise of the ray tracing era it’d still be a hugely competent GPU.
