Oh okay, well had to restart after uninstalling, and it seemed to restart fine straight away this time. So knock on wood, one or more of the suggested changes seem to have helped, so thank you all.

I believe I've done any updates it has asked about it. When initially shutting it down, I've been selecting shut down from the power options on the start menu. But because I have no display after turning it back on, the further shut downs I have to do by holding the physical button. Disabled...

Does seem like a new monitor would be best then. Think for simplicity's sake, I would want one with speakers in it, so I can still use it for my PS5 and switch easily if possible.
