You have it, it's good advice. It's a massive cost for me, I'm looking for some re-assurance
Might be helpful if you can explain why you've chosen to change the spec from what was previously advised, else you're asking folk to basically tell you the same stuff againPlus I've changed the spec a bit - It's in Building now
What about the rest of the changes?... ie) You've gone back to AMD with seemingly no explanation given the previous advice was in favor of intel?@steaky360 probably just being over zellous on that, My last PCS Laptop suffered from overheating quite a bit
In terms of the monitors?Care to elaborate on that?
PCS will sell you the IIYAMA ProLite B2791QSU-B1 for £215. I think that's £20 more than the ones you're buying? They'd be far better for you.Fair enough, I needed a big(ISH) screen - And can't justify the extra £75+ per monitor for a 1440 at the moment.
When I'm teaching I use one monitor for the student and one for me I'll have a play around with the settings and see what I can get it to perform like. If it's too bad I'll sell them on and replace in the future.
The MSI is much better, but I doubt it would help you much for music work. For video production or gaming, absolutely.Whats the difference between the one you have mentioned and this one
27" MSI OPTIX MAG272CQR
For the avoidance of doubt, the advice was: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/foru...-a-good-music-production-pc.87716/post-666408Thank you @sck451 I have gone with the MSI as I prefer curved and 165hz may benefit my Video Work for recording lessons etc - in answer to @Scott I have built this PC now and will take on board what has been said. The advice is very minimal changes needed. I have however removed the Thermal Paste and up'd the PSU
I am still standing by Ryzen though![]()
