They'd both be about the same as the load at 1440p will be shifted to the GPUAlright, so as far as raw performance goes in games which would be better for me. My original build with the i7-9700k 2070 super or the 3800x with the 2070 super also?
Just thought again, there's the possiblity to source the cooler, and ship it to PCS. Should easily be able to do that within the time it takes to get into the building stage, just phone PCS and clarify it with them if that would be ok, sure it would be.That's definitely something to consider, ill look into doing the installation myself
IMHO, the main thing that leads me to recommending AMD so much, is not just the extra value for what you get, but mainly it's the security. That's also a good option, its really tough to decide. As you say they would be around the same, this is your area of expertise so would it really be worth going through having to cancel wait for a refund then repurchase and source the cooler. Or just staying with what I have got even though I'm overpaying on certain areas?
All the best, whichever way you go, you'll certainly have a very good gamiing experience.Okay, thank you and everyone else for helping me with this. I'm going to spend tomorrow just having a final think before I rush into anything, I trust what you say and will definitely consider the builds you have sent me.
