Audio drivers for the default card

My audio has gotten a little weird recently and I was thinking it may be a driver issue but I don't know what the audio card that was provided by PcSpecialist is. On my quote it's says ONBOARD 8 CHANNEL (7.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD) so anyone have an actual name with a brand for this thing or where I could find a driver download. If not any fixes for audio coming out of only one side of earphones would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

The audio driver will be on software/driver disk supplied.
Dics I got include the mobo cd, gpu cd and a cd for the monitor. I wouldn't have thought it would be in the mobo disk but I'll give it a go on there later. I'd also prefer if it's possible to get a name so I could go onto the website of the manufacturer and get the latest driver.

The onboard audio driver is normally included on the motherboard disk.
You could check for an update for the audio driver on the Asus website if you know what motherboard you have.

Downloading the driver now from Asus, I'll update with the results. Thanks this didn't occur to me for whatever reason.

Update:
Asus Audio driver was installed and it gave me some thing called VIA HD Audio Deck which I used to reconfigure the audio settings and that seemed to work.
