Thanks man, i did have tritton ax pros but for some reason they have started buzzing all the time so i have resorted to not using them.

My computer is in one room and the family TV is in another. There is no connection between them.

I don't play games much or expect much from them so I haven't bothered with a gaming set-up or, for that matter, a proper gaming-spec PC.
