X99 - RAM Options!

Just notices today PCS have changed the RAM format. I had a good machine all ready to be bought with 16GB 300MHz RAM in quad format (4x4GB), and today it's reset my option. Now they only go up in 8GB segments.

Why?

You would need to contact PCS directly for an official response, maybe out of stock?

I've just spoken to one of their reps via Live Chat and it was news to him too. Upon checking it looks like they've changed the format, need to phone them to get 4x4GB after purchase. Not prepared to do that unless I fully well know what i'm buying beforehand, if it's available after purchase then why on earth was it removed in the first place? Very bizarre decision, and it'll effect future buyers. Not many are going to purchase an X99 system if they can only get 16GB in dual channel format, or at least those who know what they're buying.

I'll see if they change it back in the coming days, otherwise i'm looking elsewhere.
