It's not a well-balanced build.

The motherboard is insanely expensive and intended for extreme overclocking rather than modest home/office use. On the other hand the CPU is pretty basic, the case is cheap and lacks front-facing USB 3.0, 16gb RAM would be better, the HDD is gigantic and expensive, you're adding a wifi card when the mobo already has it, etc etc..

What's your budget and what exactly will you be using the PC for? Any software in particular?

Oussebon, many thanks for valuable comments i chose the motherbord because the standard board was on long delivery. I will look again the main software will be office365, then coffee cup for webdesign madix for music handling my budget is £1000

ron2fs it would be really helpful if you could add spaces between words, makes the post a lot more readable cos whilst it is sorta readable people may not always read it right, for instance 'aneexcelvba' I'm assuming is actually meant to be 'and excel vba' but I could be wrong as I was guessing whether the first three letters were a typo or not :)

's why I suggested a new keyboard in my first post ;-)

i apologise for my typing. I am recovering from a stroke, so any typing is difficult.

That's ok, I'll try and add the spaces for you when I can, but sometimes it may be tricky for me to work it out :)

Your spec above in this post: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/foru...office-homeuse&p=403595&viewfull=1#post403595

looks good to me.

The Sharkoon case is fine for your purposes, but it's not amazing for cooling. If it were ever your intention to add a graphics card (e.g. for gaming, video editing) or to pass the PC on to someone who might, the Game Max Falcon would be a better choice. Also you can configure the LED fan colours on that, instead of being stuck with green :)

Your original spec was £1100 rather than £1000. If you did have an extra ~£100, you might like to add a PM961 or SM961 SSD from trhe M.2 SSD Drive menu. An SSD can be a huge asset for productivity and speed up using the PC, including making Windows load faster.
