This is about my old computer, not a PCS build. I apologise if this is too naughty, just tell me I'll delete it.
Old computer specs in my sig.
I gave my daughter and family my old computer, the complete set-up including monitor.
It worked fine for a couple of months, then developed a problem.
The problem manifests as the "No video input" displayed on the monitor.
We've swapped monitor cables, removed and reseated the 750ti GPU and unplugged and replugged the gpu power supply cable. All to no effect.
It isn't a modular PSU, all power cables are hardwired, the gpu power cable looks in good condition
As it's so old anyway, finding another 750ti gpu to borrow for a test is likely to be almost impossible.
So I'm looking for advise on something else I can do to test what's there, or what would be a good gpu to replace it with.
My old computer was a huge upgrade on what they were using. They don't have the finances to buy something newer.
I'm asking you all, because of your friendly advise in the past and hoping you can help me out with this.
