Hey everyone,
I'm about to order a comp I've built on here with the amazing assistance of Rubensolo and Tiberias.
I just wanted to check something with anyone experienced.
I have selected the following Motherboard and Wireless Card:
Motherboard:
ASUS® P8Z77-V: PCI-E 3.0 READY, WIFI, SLI, CROSSFIREX
Wireless Card:
DUAL-BAND WIRELESS 802.11N 450Mbps PCI-E CARD
Now when I select proceed, or save quote, the website offers up a hint obviously saying that the MB has on-board wireless. Does anyone know how good this actually is? I've had a quick look online but can find nothing solid except this small bit from the Asus website:
"Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n Supports single band frequency 2.4GHz"
I can afford the Dual-Band Wireless card, so should I just get that seeing as how It is on the face of it much better than the on-board wireless?
