Hi there, got my PC delivered on friday (order # 368391) very impressed so far and everything has been a piece of cake to set up... except the edimax wireless card.

I have been having problems getting the Edimax software to even acknowledge the card is there. I get the card icon on the windows task bar with a red cross through saying "Edimax wireless LAN card not exist"

The CD provided loads through to where it searches for a network but finds nothing. currently my BT Homehub router is in the same room so I don't think it is an 'environment' problem.

After doing some searches on the forums already I have checked the card hasn't come loose during transit, I have made sure both antenna are connected and i have been to the edimax website and downloaded the drivers for windows 7 (the setup on this removed the CD installed version and has installed but still no joy with the card)

I have noticed there are two lights on the back of the card and a small black button, do I need to do anything with these? oh and the lights have never come on.

Any help to get this up and running this weekend would be much appreciated as it is getting relly frustrating! other than that though PC is incredible:cool:!

If this still fails, try doing it in this order.

Remove all previous drivers and software.

Remove the card from the PC.

Install the software PCS linked above, shut down the PC.

Install the card and boot up.
