Apologies if this is already well-known but I've just spent and hour or so scratching around to find this.
Those of us that installed Windows 8 and then performed the online upgrade to Windows 8.1 cannot use our original Windows 8 install disks to do a system refresh because the installed version (8.1) is not the same as the DVD version (8). The problem is that we don't have a Windows 8.1 installation disk.
To download an iso file (or flash drive format) Windows 8.1 installation disk image go to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media.
