One of the things that crops up here fairly frequently is that a new machine seems a bit sluggish when first used.
Generally, this is because of the indexing. When Windows is first used it tries to index all of the files and folders on the local drive to make searching faster but this, combined with sometimes downloading Windows updates, can lead to a less than optimal first experience.
I've just been reading that the May 2020 release will try to index when the machine is less busy/not index at peak times, so this should make things feel a bit nicer from the start. Of course, I would assume that this means search will be a bit less complete initially/take longer to complete.
