I bought my optimus vii in March with win7 installed and now I'm wanting to put 8 on it. Trouble is I have lost my drivers disc, can I get a replacement disc from pcspecialist or is there a site I can go to to download the relevant drivers?

Login to your account on the main PCS website, on the left hand side you should see 'download' in the 'tech support' section. From there, choose your device and operating system. Then you can download the appropriate drivers :)

I did what you said and had a look, it asked what operating system i have and although there is a list of drivers for win7, there is only one for win8. Will the win7 drivers be compatible?

You'll find that Windows update probably has all the necessary drivers and you won't need to manually install any. The only exception will probably be the Hotkey (Control Centre) driver and I'd expect the Windows 7 one to be ok to use with Windows 8 (and probably Windows 10).
