I was just wondering Would my ASUS P8Z68-V LX motherboard be compatible with the geforce gtx 670 2GB? Would love some feedback as i'm planning on getting a 670 but I may need to upgrade my motherboard :)

Thanks

yep I thought of that also at the moment I only have a 600w so i'm definitely going to have to invest some money there but it's okay as long as the card works when I buy it :L thanks for the response corfate +rep :p

According to the configurator a 600W PSU is enough to power a 670 and still offer 100W more than needed :)

I don't see any real reason to upgrade anything unless you plan to SLI the GPU in the future, which would mean that you'd need a new mobo and a 750W min PSU.

you may need to be careful with your current cooling equipment as the 670 will generate a lot more heat than your previous GPU
