Will this GPU fit

I don't know why all my posts come with small picture but eh just click on them

So I want to buy the power cooler r9 290 pcs+ but there are problems first
Here is the problem though case compatibility which sucks. Here is what my case can apparently fit

So it says 290mm cards but as you can see there is a bit of clearance and the whole thing is 300mm I'm probably going to get a ruler and check myself but still. So this card is measured wrong on powercooler site they say the cards dimensions are 266.65mm There is no way in hell it is that size I mean look at this thing

Even on a review site they said that was wrong so here is what I've found just typing in the card and check review sites for dimensions

Link 1 (Fudzilla) says this
The card, including the cooler, measures 295mm x 111mm x 46mm. Note this is longer than the reference design and we advise you to check whether this card fits into your case.

Link 2 (hardware-canucks- This is the review of the 290x version for this card but I doubt it's shorter than the 290)
They say
It’s 11 ¾ (298.45mm)

I just don't know what size this card is I seen someone post on youtube a comment on a video about this card

I don't think they really measured this card at all because the specs are wrong even on the power color website the specs are wrong!...as its real dimensions are 294mm long and 52mm thick!

I mean I wanted to go inside of my case to measure myself but I couldn't find a ruler just a measuring tape which was not much help at all.
So I just took pictures anyway to give you an idea... the current length of the card in there is 261mm

Being honest, I'd get a better case mate. It does look pretty cramped in there. A slightly bigger case would alleviate your problems. I guess at the end of the if the new gpu is too long, then its too long.

what case is that btw? I'd take time to check, because you dont want to buy something and find it doesnt fit.

I know I'd really love something like the corsair 760t but that's just adding to the price tag and the way it stands the gpu and probably a new power supply is enough
Anyway it's a zalman z11 plus if you wondering about max gpu length that picture is from their website in other words they say 290mm but as you can see there is some clearance

It probably depends exactly what you measure, are you measuring from the I/O plate to the rear of the card, or just the body of the card.

If your case says it fits up to 290mm, you are trying to fit something in that looks to be 294mm, it might fit, but not worth the risk IMO. I mean you could go removing the HDD caddy and coming up with all sorts of (time consuming) mods for the chassis but might be a bit over the top.

Looking at pictures 4 and 5, even if the cage could be removed, the 3.5 inch drive bay cage thing would still be in the gpu's way. If your current card is 261mm and the new card is 294mm, it really doesn't look like its going to fit.

Why not look at a shorter gpu that would fit?

Because... A: It's a really good cooler that is really quite
B: They are doing a deal for that card for £300 which is pretty normal for an r9 290 but it comes with
Powercolor Radeon R9 290 PCS+ OC 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE AMD 8GB 2400MHz Memory Kit
I mean that ram on their site alone is worth £90 I could sell that shiz on ebay for at least £75

Sometimes limiting factors get in the way though and you cant get the best because of it.
