Thanks mate hopefully it will.
For some reason the Spec has gone off this thread and I can't edit my original post??

When you are new to the forums, your posts will often get auto-moderated and no-one will be able to see them until they are approved, this also applies to edits of previously approved posts (which makes them seemingly disappear) - it should be visible again now

Monitor for new computer.

I have bought a new computer from PC SPECIALISTS but did not purchase a new monitor. I have a fairly new HP w1907v monitor but am wondering will it have the proper connections to fit my new computer. My new computer has a "PCS ALPHA TRION 7622B BLACK CASE". I have also ordered a 1X2 metre DVI-D CABLE.

I ordered a 4GB Nvidia GFORCE GTX 970. Mabey I need to purchase a new monitor to run the graphics card at full quality.???

I don't think you'd need one, but it would certainly make full use of your 970 to game at 1920x1080. You can get some decent cheap monitors, I got mine at an another retailer for under £150, it's a low-end 24inch IPS monitor from Asus, and I'm quite happy with it. If you have the budget, a monitor would be a nice addition.

Sorry but just back to my original question. Will the monitor I have now fit the connections of my new computer??

Looking at the specs for that monitor, it looks like it only has a VGA port so you would need some kind of convertor to use your 19" monitor - the graphics card has 1 DVI, 1 mHDMI, 3 mDP ports - I'm not sure that any of those will actually output an analogue signal at all (and looking at the monitor specs I think it needs an analogue signal) - depends which type of DVI it is on the graphics card.

Thanks for the help. Their is still time to amend my order and buy a new monitor before it dispatched from PC SPECIALISTS. Can anyone recommend a good monitor for this computer.

Any with at least a 1920x1080 resolution.
Personally I like the Iiyama monitors (both my monitors are Iiyamas), and PCS have a selection of theirs to choose from
