Whats the version of the heatsink for the 6990m?

Since there seems to be a mess lately with the heatsinks regarding the 6990m I would like to ask if someone knows which heatsink does pcspecialist provides with the card, the 203 or the 204 heatsink? the reason i am asking is because the 204 seems to perform better in terms of temperature etc.

I got my laptop on Friday and it has a 203.

There is not a mess with the heatsinks, alhtough the later the revision the better for cooling. We have not experienced any issues with our chassis and we use the 203 version. 204 will follow in a few months time.

by october there is no chance u will have 204 heatsinks or? and another question i have is if i send you IC diamond 7 for thermal paste can u place that one instead of the normal thermal paste u apply?

Unfortnately I cannot promise anything. This will depend on:

1. Clevo shipping new stock to us with this heatsink.
2. The current inventories we have in stock/on route being depleted first.

Regarding the CPU paste - you are welcome to apply this yourself at a later date but we do not apply any thermal paste at the point of assembly - it is pre-applied on the Clevo assembly line.
