Its a nice build but usually quite an overkill for the every person and gamer alike. What are you usage for it?

Whats your budget that your working on? if you have one? when you say pure gaming, any chance you will be going for a SLI multi gpu setup in future or now with the gtx580?

Configure it here :)

For gaming, a sandy quad core would be much better suiting for you as a the six core 990X is just overkill for gaming and mad expensive as the spec ive came up for you is a solid power house gaming work horse for your gaming at a much cheaper price.

I would say the i7 2600 would be perfectly fine for whatever you do along with gaming but for your mysterious big unknown budget, its worth going for the K variant which overclocks easier if ever desired so i've popped in the faster 1600mhz ram.
2000mhz aren't really worth their premium pricing and they are at times, unstable, which is not good.

popped in a bigger psu for future when you do SLI, if not a 650 or 750 would be fine suited with plenty of breathing room.

Added an SSD for caching to boost the fast velociraptor drive to make it even more faster in conjunction with the z68 board's ssd caching.

The titan will do a good cooling job just as much as the coolit liquid coolers.

not sure if you need the 2 hdmi cables or not but the iiyama monitor will come with a dvi cable which has just about the same quality as the hdmi cable, just no audio. since you have added dedicated speakers, the dvi would be fine to stick to.

That seems like a very good spec and cheaper aswell. When i last got a new pc i went for high spec and it has lasted me very well. I have a heatpipe cooling system in mine now but is quite loud with fan up fast. Really looking for quiet running as possible. Thnx for the much appreciated help. Cheers

This spec will last you a longg time and has plenty of room for upgrades and future proofing you could say :)

The titan is pretty quiet from what im hearing especially coming from the memebers on this forum that owns one. If not a liquid cooler would do you just fine if your happy with the few extra quid for it :) altogether, the haf x is real quiet. so you should be in good noise level.
