I know exactly the thread you mean, but for the life of me can't find it! How annoying!

Never mind, it's never a bad topic to go through again.

What have you bought the PC for, what kinds of uses as will affect the paces it's worth putting it through?

I spent 10 mins looking for this thread and couldn't find but when you dropped the link, it popped in my mind that I had it saved in my browser favourites! What an absolute *** I am 🤣

I know I stumbled apon it last time by accident and thought this is great and I couldn't find it for bloody ever 😂😂

I'll be using it mainly for gaming and a light bit of editing/streaming.

I've reinstalled windows and I now believe my drivers are up to date 🤞

When it is mentioned that GPU drivers should be downloaded from the manufacturer website, does this mean NVidia or Zotac (the maker of my card)?

It’d be from Nvidia for your GPU drivers 👍

If your card has any RGB elements to it, the software for that will be from Zotac.

We wouldn’t be able to offer any support on a non licensed windows, it’s piracy plain and simple. As PCS are a Microsoft partner, we need to treat it as it is.

Sorry guys, stupid question here. How important is it to have an "Activated" windows?
As important as paying for your items in a trolley at the checkout of any supermarket - just calmly sneaking out through the exit ;) The only difference that theft is happening at your home and there're no CCTV watching you while you do that every day.

It's risky, may be unsafe and may not work us expected, but possible. PCS wouldn't give you software support, and you may end up waking up one day and seeing on the news that Microsoft decided not to provide Windows updates for such unregistered OS.

Ahhhh, I'm just completely confusing myself 🤦‍♂️
I have mine activated through a digital license now, I had to just contact Microsoft themselves to confirm basically, sorry fellas

If you have a legally obtained Win 10 key and you won't use your old machine, you may transfer that licence to a new machine as per instructions in the below link.

Well God damn I didn't know that, that could've saved me alot of hassle...
Although it does seem pretty logical that you could do that 🤦‍♂️ Oh well haha!
Thanks 😁
