The i7 7700k is made obsolete by the 8700k under the Z370 configurators.

What's your budget?

What did the above cost?

What will you be using the PC for?

If gaming, what monitor are you using?

The i7 7700k is a poor choice for streaming. To the extent that if you're bothered about streaming, you probably want to return it even if you take a small loss, and reorder something better suited to your needs.

The I7 7700k Poor in what way. I wouldn't like to send it back and upset my mum now. So I'll end up keeping for a bit...

It basically struggles for streaming. Streaming is very demanding because you're asking the CPU to encode video at the same time as playing a game. A CPU with more cores and 'threads' will give a better streaming experience.

If you must stream on a 7700k, you'll likely have to really reduce the quality of your stream and make other changes as well. See:
https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/2993-amd-1700-vs-intel-7700k-for-game-streaming/page-2

In your position I would give serious consideration to returning it for a system with an i7 8700(k) or a Ryzen R7. The 7700k has been made pretty much completely obsolete by it's 8th Gen Intel replacement (8700k) and Ryzen.
