What are you going to do on this PC? The over clocked chip an 16 GB of RAM might be overkill unless you plan to hammer it.

Yeah it's going to be used on 4 23" monitors for video editing and I'm a trader so lots of that.... And obviously the odd game of MW3 ;).

looks good, might be worth considering a second hard drive for storage,
unless you have external.

You may have the side fan removed from the case due the titan evo, as its massive.

Also i'd drop the sound card, the motherboard will have the same connections on, and probably the same level of quality

looks fine to me. do downclock it back to stock clocks when used in normal conditions like browsing or gaming and so.

Thanks for the advice. Wanted to make sure I did not put something obviously wrong on it. Didn't know the fan was so big lol, is that just the side fan or the whole cover. Be a shame to ruin suchba lovely case. I think your right about sound card, after putting the sound card in I had to up the power from 650 to 750 as well.

I've got an external as well but I don't thinking own 1 tb of data lol.

its not the fan thats massive, its the titan fenrir cpu cooler. but If you are overclocking, don't downgrade it.

pcs will just take the big fan off from the case. you can still however attach smaller size fans to it like a 120mm size to some of the mounting places of the panel. do give pcs a note that anything removed or spare parts to get sent to you (i.e, the removed fan).

So the PC is now in Pre-Production which is progress but the wait is horrible. 10-12 working days doesn't sound like a long time but it feels like an eternity, i think we should make them count weekends as working days :). Be nice to know what some of you guys have done to pass the time. I have done all the obvious things like pre-order some games BF3 MW3 etc and made a nice little space for where shes going to go (its a she btw). anything elseeeeee????

Hey Tom, do you reckon the side fan would need to be removed with the Haf X and the Titan Fenrir? or the Haf X is big enough for that?

By the way JGUK, nice build! Pretty similar to the one I'm going to order soon! :)

depends on the case width the side fan is normally 200mm and 25mm thick not sure how big the titan is but i personally went for the watercooling to fit the side fan in my phantom. look at the width dimentions on the pcs website as you click info on cases maybe you can work it out from there.

I shall have to ask PCS tomorrow. I know the Titan was big but the phantom is a big case. I don't like the idea of not having a side fan :S.
