Hi, I'm happy to help out. What would be your budget? And would you need a screen, keyboard etc?

What you have got there is an excellent PC. I would perhaps recommend upgrading the PSU a little bit, especially if you are thinking of upgrading your system in anyway in the future.

If it is a decent gaming PC, I would recommend sticking to the Intel CPU, it's better for games and most things really. Same with the RAM, 4gb is fine, unless you of course want to spend some extra money lol!

The AMD is still a v. good processor, especially if you are doing rendering and such. The PSU is easy to buy, not so sure about easy to change, but there are plenty of tutorials online. You'd have to check with support if changing part of your system doesn't change your warranty in any way.

Is Nvidia or ATI better for graphics cards, as i've only ever used a Nvidia, but the reviews say that the ATI 5670 is better than the Nvidia equivalant.

Also is ATI or Nvidia better for graphics, only ever used Nvidia but the ATI is better in reviews. :L

Windows 7 home premium is not worth upgrading, it's already very good. And it depends what is the ATI against? The 5670/5770 are good cards.

The spec I done will still suit you better, I have improved a lot of your components.

Simple as it is ATI is cheaper and therefore more bang for buck, Intel/Nvidia do the grunt work.
With a budget like yours I would stick to a AMD/AtI build as you can get components elsewhere with the saved money.

The processor I chose is a overclock model, but there are very few AMD processors stocked by PCS that are not overclocks. Just because it can be overclocked does not mean you have to.

I do like you specs but i've never used a AMD or ATI, so Im a bit anxious but I will look into it more. Thanks :)
