Title says it all, isnt the HDD because im using an SSD! Really confused! The sound is similar to that of an annoying fly and only comes about when playing games, even when speakers are off. I thought it was a fan at first so i ran heaven and it made the annoying noise so i thought it must be the new GPU, so I turned the fan to 100% on afterburner and its fine, I then deicded it was the CPU watercooler somehow but ran prime95 and it was fine. Seems to only occur when both running simultaneously! Please help!

Doesnt sound like it, mine isnt as loud as that, and doesnt change depending on the sound output. Just a constant "noise" of some sort. Not loud enough to pick up on a mic tho! If it is tho, would I get an Rma do you think? I got this new GPU today to be fair..... From PCS as an RMA

The GPU is suppose to be noisy, if it is a noise you can't pick with a microphone i don't see why you should be concern or how it could warrant an RMA. If you are concerned with the noise and for peace of mind you could contact PCS to help you run any tests on it.

If it just happened today with the installation of a new GPU then it very well could be a tiny bit of coil whine. Coil whine doesn't have to change pitch it can be all the same tone.

If its 'just' coil whine and you can barely hear it then you probably don't qualify for an RMA.

Ahh okay thanks for the help guys, it's not. Normal fan noise so I'm thinking it is coil whine... I'm looking my for solutions online and a lot of people say a good fix is to leave it whining for a while so I'll try that, maybe a few days!

Don't get your hopes up, I'm not sure what kind of a success rate that would have but I would think fairly low.

Coil whine on a new computer can disappear after a while so yes,I would give it a few days.
