Hey everyone, has anyone had any experience with water cooling graphics cards?? I was looking into buying 2 water blocks for my 780s and some thing for my cpu and water cooling them, think it would look really nice with some green tubing and green leds.

question - can I use one big reservoir or do I need one for each piece one for gpu one for gpu one for cpu?

I think you would be able to use just one if you wanted to. It really depends on the exact setup. I think Halox and Tom have been having a pretty good conversation about all things watercooling here: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?27731-Water-cooling-a-GPU

One thing to note, Unless you have EVGA 780s and use EVGA water blocks its likely you'll void the warranty putting water blocks on your GPU's. The PCS warranty will be ok as long as the watercooling doesn't leak and cause damage to the rest of the PC (as far as I understand it). Of course I could be wrong about both of those. Just something to consider :)

My understanding is that as soon as he takes the cooler/heatsink the warranty will be voided from Palit and PCS.

Unless you have done it before I would not risk setting up a watercooled system with such as expensive set up. Remember what happened to the monitor :)

fair point :) I suppose air cooling is sufficient for now.
