warranty query

Hello

I am about to buy a new computer with the following option -
3 Year Silver Warranty (1 Year Collect & Return, 1 Year Parts, 3 Year Labour) (£5)

The parts warranty states 1 year however most of the computer parts have 3 or more years warranty direct with manufacturer? Is this not applicable when the parts are purchased within a complete computer that is supplied by a computer manufacturer?

Most parts, including the CPU, motherboard and hard drive have at least a 3 year warranty, and the graphics card normally 2 years. The silver year covers parts for 1 year with us. If you order this warranty option we will collect, repair and return the computer for 1 year. If a part failed after 2 years you could return the part to us and we would send it off to the manufacturer for you. If you wanted us to collect, repair and return the computer after 2 years there would be a cost associated with this.
