Hiya there.
Basically, I have been looking at the Razor Tiamat. Its everything i want in a headset, Looks cool, true surround sound audio, Easy retractable mic, Sturdy, Etc.
I have two issues, though.
One is that my computer is only 5.1 Now i am really misinformed and there is little information on google from what i can find, but will this hinder me other than limiting the extra 2 speakers? Will i be able to hear in full 5.1 quality like i would have with a bogstandard 5.1 headset?
What will this sound like via MP3? I travel a lot and it would be great to have this option.
I have been looking at other headsets and they dont fill the criteria as well as the Tiamat's, Which is very frustrating. I see very few 5.1 surround sound headsets on the market, But the Tiamats have a USB for power, so would this hinder any mobile MP3 support?
They either dont erganomically suite, or seem very "Eye pleasing", or they dont offer true 5.1 surround, Or they dont offer MP3 capability. Razer tends to kind of skip along questions like this, so any help with this would be great.
If you have any suggestions in 5.1 headsets, please dont hesitate to say
My max budget is £150
Thanks
Charlie
