I've seen a few posts on this now, I just thought I'd add mine to the list.
This laptop performs awfully on battery mode. To be honest I'd say it barely performs. Don't get me wrong the moment you plug it in it instantly comes alive and feels like a laptop that I spent over £2000 on. I knew not to expect full power when it wasn't plugged in but honestly, it's shocking just how poor the performance can be when it isn't plugged in - especially just as it warms up.
I mean the only reason I went for a laptop over a desktop was because of the portability aspect, well it isn't all that portable when I have to be in reach of a socket just for using youtube. I mean before making this post I had music on, on youtube and was browsing steam and it stuttered. My spec of the laptop has 64GB of ram and the rtx 2080 Max Super.
That aside I do absolutely stand by my purchase this laptop is exceptional, the screen is beautiful and was a lovely surprise at just how nice it is. Also with a metal chassis, you really can't be too mad at it for failing to perform when not plugged in. From what I've seen there is a "fix" for it but its too technical for a tiny brain like mine so hopefully one day there will be an official fix or update for the laptop.
