Vortex Series and Defiance Laptop differences?

Hi All,

Been a long time since I visited the forum. I am looking to replace my 3 year old Vortex 2, however I have a couple of questions:

What are the differences between the Vortex 4, Vortex 4 SE, Vortex 4 Elite and the Defiance Laptops?

I am looking to purchase with the following specs GTX980M, 16GB RAM, i7-4810.

id also wondered about this in regards to the 17 inch vortex 4 and the se model. in terms of specs it seems size and weight are very slightly different.

but from what i could see the features in terms of usb hdmi inputs out puts etc were the same.

from the photos of both of those models . the se looked like it had a slightly beefier casing where the screen was concerned. and a matte finish and few more led lights . as opposed to the brushed look of the regular vortex and it doesnt have the stupid symbol on the mouse pad.

anyone know if theres actually much in terms of difference in performance of the two models as one is slightly cheaper?

If an i7-48xx chip is required the Defiance is out of the question as they only have i7-4710 chips. However, the Defiance laptops are the only ones to have high-resolution displays.
