Vortex Series:17.3" 2nd HDD

Hi i got a Vortex 3 Series:17.3 and i got a second HDD to add and found that there is no room in the laptop so im gona have to remove my DVD drive.

will I need a 9.5mm or a 12.7mm caddy?

I cant find vortex 3, do you mean vortex 4?
second HDD drive slot IS under DVD drive.

i think it was a vortex 3 it was a year ago :] but it was under the dvd drive like you said so thank you
