I was just wondering if anyone more informed than me could comment on the spec, I know the hard drive is bottom spec but I have a Crucial MX100 512GB SSD ready to go in when it arrives.

The laptop will be used for uni work, web browsing and gaming (Payday 2, EuroTruck Sim, GTA 5(if it ever comes to PC!)). This may seem quite high spec for my level of gaming but I am trying to futureproof slightly so it does not become outdated too soon!

Currently priced at £1280 which is maybe a little more than I want to spend (but I can stretch to it) so am partly wondering if there is anywhere I can save a bit without compromising performance. (I know the network card is top spec but seemed very little price difference to upgrade, I'm not sure how much difference this will actually make so could downgrade here.)

My other question is if anyone who owns one of these has any views on mobility? I'm not too bothered about weight, more about is carrying it around on your back (in a case) gonna break it?

Thank you if you have read this far and I look forward to any comments!

I would drop to 8GB of ram as you can easily add some more later on if you need it. Could also upgrade to silver warranty for £5.
