Vortex IV PCH Diode Temperature

Hi guys,

I recently bought a Vortex IV 17.3'' and through AIDA64 I can see the PCH diode temperature at 74C idle, and at some heavy games goes to 96C.

Should I be worried?

Laptop spec: GTX 880M, Core I7 4710MQ, 16 GB RAM.

Does seem a bit high, but I'd take those reading with a pinch of salt unless you are getting any problems.

Unless you can get a 2nd bit of software to verify the readings it may just be a false reading.

the laptop runs perfectly, only this temperature is high, the others (GPU, CPU) are all average. And besides the value of the temperature, that I consider high, i'm not having any problem.

which other software do you recommend to check this temperature?

HWmonitor, though I'm not sure if it will pick up that specific sensor as it crashes my system if I run it.

If its running fine, chances are it is fine IMO.
